The house is situated on a quiet rural road, nestling below the Trotternish ridge. Leabank is east facing overlooking Staffin Bay, with the mountains of Wester Ross on the horizon.
Staffin is a small quiet crofting village, an ideal place for a relaxing holiday destination. In the village there are two shops, a laundrette and a Post Office. There are several restaurants and a hotel nearby.
There are many walks in the area allowing you to appreciate the stunning scenery for which Skye is famous for.
On the beach at An Corran, Staffin, are some remarkable footprints. They were left by a family of dinosaurs that walked across the sand here some 165 million years ago. Talk a walk or drive to the beach and see if you can find them.
The weird and wonderful rock formations of the Quiraing, which is very near our Bed and Breakfast, makes it popular with geologists, photographers and walkers.
Why not explore the Staffin Ecomuseum this is a museum without walls; See http://www.skyecomuseum.co.uk/ for more information.
